Personal Rating

Hi guys, I worked on a new way to get an own rating. Similar to the teamrating of the CTF-Ladder.

This is just the first round. The system is used at all rounds and afterall added and divided with 2 or 3 just to get the average performance.

As more games are played the rating does get more representative.
Also I can finish it , if there is any interest I would suggest to use it only at ladder games and would update it every 2 days.

If anyone is interested I can explain the way how I calculate it .

Does it count for example if i had better ratio against better teams, and i get more points than when i have a good ratio against lower renked teams? Great idea btw

Yes it does count that... because I took 1000 for everyone you can't see it in the screen.

When you search the line where "Fl" stands, that's the proportion from your rating with average team rating to enemies rating.

A better example is:

Team1:1235 (average from all 3 player)
Player A: 1000 K= 1,51 +66,23 -66 -44 -22 Fl = 0,68 -68 -34 +K/Fl +97

The lower Fl is the more points you get for a match, because that means you are worse than your enemies.

In my example of course the Fl is 1

The 'K' combined with Fl contains the own Team, too, because you play for example with bad player worse than with strong ones.

Team2:1479

Player F: 1602 K= 2,49 +64,34 -64 -43 -21 Fl = 1,3 -130 -65 +K/Fl +49

As you can see the Fl of this Player is 1,3 which means that he is stronger than the enemies average and so he loses when the teams lose, more rating. [1602+(-130-64)+1602]/2 = 1505

This is the T-Rating containing his rating , own teams average rating, enemies average rating and result of the match.


Next what's getting calculated is the Score-Rating and GP-Rating where you can see the factor "Fl" is also effective.

EDIT: I only showed you the results, of course you can't see all the 'Fl' parts.

(40/Fl)/4 || (x/7*30)/Fl are some (not all) formulars which I use for the other ratings

what are you going to do to make all those formulas to come to life.

hey guys, I still would work on this if there are enough people who are interested in it.
I would create a small website containing a rating table by person and clan.
