what the.. ?

Great idea. Just a couple of quick questions:

1. At what time on Sunday is this gonna be played?
2. Wouldn't it be better to limit max players in team and max players in team from one clan, as was the case with the risk tourney?
3. 2nd sudden death with one team having the priority is kinda biased. Couldn't smth like a TDM to 20 be played instead?

1. 12.00 first match is played. Rest of the times are announced on saturday evening
2. This tournament is not meant to prevent clans playing as clans. I suspect most teams that play at first will just be clans, but I am trying to prevent people from thinking it's wrong to divide oneself into 2 teams if you are a big clan.
3. It's not biased, it's random. This is a CTF tournament, I think your idea is good but I will respectfully decline to use it this time and save (and possible modify) it for a later time. =) For now most of these rules are set in stone for the upcoming tournament on sunday, I would appreciate additions in case there is any scenario that I have not foreseen.

Okay for clans, but there could still be a rule about max players in one team, like 5 or 6, to make the number of possible teams participating a bit bigger (instead of having like, 10 NbZ in one team, 8 wS in the 2nd team, 7 \v/ in the 3rd team and 10 jokers in 4th team, while the same number of people is enough for 7 teams with 5 people)

Oh, from your rules I thought that you will directly decide who gets priority, but randomness is okay. Although the priority could probably be given to the team with highest total damage or something like that.

I leave it to the clans to do however they want. As I said, I don't want to have any weird stuff going on - just a tournament for all the teams out there. However, I can well imagine that if you are in a clan with 10 people you might want to split your team into 2 just to let everyone who wants to play. Just trying to get rid of the sens that you have to be in a set clan at all to play in the tourney - all you need is 2 other guys who will want to play on sunday.

The good thing about this is that there is no 2 weeks. It's sunday or nothing, if I just get 2 teams to play the tournament is finished

Let's hope maybe we can get 3 teams then or maybe even 4 . I thought it was fairly obvious I wasn't trying to create a 2 team tournament

You should probably advertise around babo to draw in more teams, not just the all-star ones

By the way, some people have asked me - I'm not going to play personally in the tournament for fairly obvious reasons.

Maybe in the future if this works superwell and everyone understands the rules well enough and they cover everything so that not even I can cheat, I can play. But for the first times I will not take part.

One more thing.

Don't be scared to post your registrations early. You can edit the lineup for example if you have to as much as you want before the deadline at 12 on saturday. It will help me to know a little what to expect aswell in advance.
